HLSForge does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All video and audio processing happens entirely on your Mac — your media files never leave your device and are never uploaded to us or any third party.
HLSForge contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking SDKs. We do not use device identifiers, and the app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission because it performs no tracking.
HLSForge does not require an account, sign-in, or any registration. It does not ask for your name, email address, or any other identifying information to function.
HLSForge accesses only the files and folders you explicitly choose (via drag-and-drop or the system file picker), solely to convert and package them into HLS output on your Mac. This access remains on your device; nothing is transmitted off-device.
HLSForge offers optional in-app purchases — a Pro upgrade (subscription or one-time lifetime unlock) and optional tips to support the developer. All purchases are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. HLSForge never receives or stores your payment information. Purchase and subscription handling is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
